The Award: Creative Director of the Year Award 2008

Description:

This award recognises the creative director based in Singapore whose leadership and direction have made significant contribution to the agency and its key clients. The judging criteria will focus on consistency, client relationship and, of course, creativity. (See Call for entries for full criteria)

How the winner is selected:

A separate panel of distinguished judges views the work of all entrants in accordance with the criteria in the “call for entries”. Entries may be sent in by any bona fide creative director working on ad campaigns and is not restricted to those selected to appear in the supporting campaign for “Singapore’s most influential creative directors” (See below).

Supporting campaign:

“ Singapore’s most influential creative directors”

Giant Wall Posters at Raffles Place MRT station and Somerset MRT station and four-sheeter posters in all 51 MRT stations.

Description:

The IAS Academy of Creative Directors, composed of 52 distinguished creative directors appointed by IAS, nominate and vote on up to 18 of their peers whom they collectively assess as being the most influential in the past 12 months. The 18 selected nominees are then photographed in a group or individually and featured in a poster campaign that runs in all MRT stations with a daily passenger traffic of 1.45 million!
