IAS appointed ATO by WDA
(Authorised to conduct Workforce Skills Qualification(WSQ) Courses)

Institute of Advertising, Singapore (IAS) has pleasure in announcing that it has been appointed an Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) by the Government’s Workforce Development Agency (WDA), to conduct Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) courses.

The benefits of this accreditation, are that approved courses will be subsidised by WDA on two components, courses fees and absentee payroll. It is meant to defray costs in sending staff for training and to compensate companies that nominate their executives for their absence from work in attending training.

To launch this programme, IAS has selected a course that has the widest possible relevance to all mid-level executives in all functions of all businesses. This course is entitled:

“The 3R’s of Great ‘Pitches” – Research, (w)Rite and Rehearse” (It’s WSQ title is “Prepare a Design Presentation” – CI-DES-444S-0)

This course is relevant to all executives who have to “pitch” or sell their services to customers – both external (as in clients) and/or internal (as in bosses and peers).
